The introduction of Feng Shui to the West has heightened our awareness of the effect our environment has upon us. Because everything is energy, we are directly connected, and, like a tuning fork, our energetic and nervous systems respond to the energy fields around us. These highly charged fields affect us profoundly: emotionally, physically, mentally, and spiritually. Feng Shui allows us to then utilize these surroundings like an incubator of oscillating and pulsating energy. The result is a potent instrument of support on all levels.
As the oscillation of the planet increases, we are affected by increased frequency and simultaneously grow more sensitive to these energies, both from within and without. Applying her unique knowledge of these forces, Trish Duval uses her extensive experience with Feng Shui to design living and working environments.
Since all energy seeks harmony, it will naturally attract like energy. Consequently, when negative energies are released, often through the processing of emotions, they accumulate even more negative energy, coalescing into a toxic atmosphere. Since we are so strongly affected by these forces, our energetic and nervous systems are at considerable risk of compromise, even contamination. Therefore, the vital tasks of Feng Shui are to clear, balance, and harmonize all space and structure. Once this process is complete, clients often report that the path to change and positive growth is no longer obstructed by inhibiting forces.
Duval Design offers Feng Shui services in a form that can be accessed remotely, removing time and distance as a factor and maximizing convenience. |

Clients are sent a report detailing all findings after implementation. Individual plans for optimal energy flow, floor plans, furniture and accessory placement are also part of this service.
At Duval Design, we work with a western approach to Feng Shui. Thus an ancient art can be readily applied to the demands of every day life: relationships, work, family, and any other creative pursuit.
Each individual plan is grounded in the Five Elements, the founding text for Feng Shui dating to 1600 BC China. The Five Elements refer to the principal substances of the natural world: wood, fire, earth, metal, and water. Each forms an interdependent, inseparable bond. Any imbalance between these forces affects us profoundly and adversely.
Trish begins all assessments by first addressing the crucial issue of elemental balancing, correcting all excesses and deficiencies to restore harmony of the Five Elements. Once she formulates a comprehensive report, Trish works directly on thetargeted space. During this process, she makes the tangible modifications necessary to achieve the maximum benefits of Feng Shui. |
